Protocol for the use of borrowed equipment, sets, radio studios and editing rooms (Covid-19)

Given the special circumstances in which we currently find ourselves, we are introducing new regulations for access and use of our facilities and services. For individual and group safety, we rely on everyone’s individual sense of responsibility.

It is essential to wear a mask at all times, to use of hand-sanitizer at the entrances to each space, and to maintain a distance of one and a half meters between people.

When moving between areas, follow the indications on the floor and the information panels.

 

  1. Stored equipment on loan:
  • For personal loans: In order to expedite the delivery of material, the identification card of the person responsible for the loan is requested in advance. This allows us to have the loan ready at the scheduled time having already been entered into the database.
  • It is essential that all people who use and manipulate the audiovisual material use hand sanitizer and a mask.
  • The material will be delivered disinfected.
  • To enter and leave the storage area you must follow the indications on the floor. If you must arrive by the stairs at the end of the corridor and leave by the stairs of the studio.

 

  1. Disinfection and sanitation of material:
  • Once the equipment is returned, it will be disinfected with the proper equipment to ensure it is done so thoroughly.

 

  1. Use of the set and control room of studio 1 (Main building):
  • Number of users on set: 3 cameras, 1 stage manager, 2 or 3 characters, plus a teacher. The seating area will have signs on each seat indicating those which are available for use.
  • Number of users on set: 2 people, plus teacher
  • Use of a mask as well as hand-sanitizer is required for access to any of the different areas.
  • TV Studio:
    • The handles on the cameras will be lined with plastic wrap. These will be changed after use by each different group.
    • The microphone is hanging from the ceiling. There is no need for it to be manipulated.
    • Intercoms are lined with plastic wrap.
    • Lighting control console is lined with plastic wrap.

 

  1. Use of the set and control room of studio 2 (Library building):
  • Number of users on set (maximum and if necessary): 2 characters, 1 stage manager, plus the teacher
  • Number of users in the control room (maximum and if necessary): 1 Tricaster operator, 1 teleprompter operator, 1 director and the teacher.
  • Intercoms are lined with plastic.
  • The microphone is hanging from the ceiling.

 

  1. Editing rooms:
  • Only two people will be able to access the editing rooms simultaneously, and when necessary, the teacher will be able to join them, always maintaining the recommended distance and wearing a mask.
  • Use of hand-sanitizer is mandatory before entering the rooms and to wear a mask all times.
  • Personal items should be kept to a minimum to avoid unnecessary contact.

 

  1. Radio studios:
  • Radio studio 1: Maximum occupancy of 3 people in the studio. The control room may include a technician, the producer, and a teacher.
  • Radio studio 2: Maximum occupancy of 2 people in the studio. The control room may include a technician, a producer and the teacher.
  • Use of a mask is required for access to the area (including the studio).
  • Personal items should be kept to a minimum to avoid unnecessary contact.
  • Two Dalet workstations will be made available in the corridor to prepare the necessary material before accessing the radio studio.

 

All areas will be cleaned twice a day by the cleaning services of the School.
